Shadow Spiders make harvesting silk plants difficult. Luadius is sending you on a task similiar to one you completed early on. Pick out targets from between the plants and hit them with your breath weapons, not the whole field.
Quest text[edit]
Kill twelve (12) Shadow Spiders, either breeders or regular spiders. Hint: The Shadow Spiders are found just south west of the Rachival Outlands in the silk fields that grow there.
About halfway between Granite Hills and the Rachival Outlands is one of the best known locations for gathering silk. The naka use silk for many of their garments and structures, so I'm frequently hearing complaints that harvesting this silk is difficult due to the many spiders which also roam in this area. You did so well with taking care of the spiders without harming the kenaf fields in your previous challenge that I'm going to send you to the silk fields now. As always, ignore the hatchling spiders. If you reduce the population of Shadow Spiders and Shadow Spider Breeders in this area, the population of hatchilngs will decrease on its own.
