Kelakhan has developed a method for distilling the acid that he hopes will make it safe to drink. He sends you out to gather the components needed for the distilling process.

Kelakhan tells you, Welcome back. Good to see you haven't backed out this far in. It would have been a pity after all the hard work you've done thus far. I shall require some Thornwood tree sap, a bit of Thornwood bark, shredded if possible, and a Thornwood Treant knot. I almost forgot, you will be required to get me five Radiant Essence as well to act as a suspension. How are you going to get Shredded Thornwood bark and Thornwood sap? Must I tell you everything? Go seek Turei in Feladan. He will ask for the Thornwood logs. Give him the logs and he will provide what you require. Then return to me.
Turei tells you, Hello dragon. I assumed I could be expecting you. Tyalangan, Aelthis, Rengarth, and Ciowiel have been talking about you. I assumed it would only be a matter of time before you showed up needing my expertise.
So... how may I be of service? You need Thornwood sap and Thornwood bark? Shredded Thornwood bark? I can do that. Sap is usually taken from a whole tree but if you bring enough freshly harvested logs, from a tree or treant I can get you your sap. The bark I can take from a log as well. Bring me fifty Thornwood logs and you will get your reagents. I do get to keep the lumber and anything else I can process from them yes? Excellent, the service will be free of charge then. Just be sure they're fresh, or I won't be able to get much Sap. The Thornwood Treant knot must be taken from the treant immediately after it falls or it is of no value. Therefore that you must collect yourself.

Collecting 50 logs was easier than you thought it might be. Bring them back to Turei so he can refine them into what you need..

This treant had a huge knot that easily was removed from the rest of its fallen body. It should suffice for what Kelakhan needs..
Turei tells you, Thank you for the lumber. One moment and I'll have what you desire. Here you are. It's been a pleasure dragon.

Kelakhan tells you, Well done. Now once again you'll have to wait while the reagents are mixed and the acid is distilled. I have to warn you, with the potency of this acid, there is a small chance of you dying. Most parts of a Thornwood tree are poisonous if ingested. Keep this in mind before drinking the final product. I'm sure you need time to relax and perhaps to steel yourself for what is to come. Give me about 5 minutes and I should have it finished.
The acid has been distilling for five minutes now. That should be long enough to make it as safe as it will ever be. Return to Kelakhan..
Steps[edit]
- Speak with Turei in Feladan
- Loot 50 Thornwood Logs
- You really need to loot them. Gathering doesn't count in.
- Loot 1 Thornwood Treant Knot.
- You need to loot this on your own.
- Return to Turei with the items from the Thornwood Treants.
- Return to Kelakhan with 5 Radiant Essence, 1 Thornwood Treant Knot, Shredded Thornwood Bark, and Thornwood Sap.
- Wait 5 min. for Kelakhan to brew the Flask of Distilled Acid.
- Yep, really 5 minutes!
