Caepio could use a hand with the Yew Treants that roam the forest. They are causing him no small amount of frustration by attacking him while he tries to cut trees and collect essence.
Quest text[edit]
Caepio tells you, Hail, <player>. One of the Gifted here at my home! This is truly a momentous day. While you are here perhaps you would do me and my family a favor?
Caepio tells you, That is good to hear! I am a woodsman, you see, and the forest is my daily refuge. Of late, however, it has become more dangerous than ever! Treants, Oastics, Bloodsnouts, even a few Dire Wolves. Not to mention the undead! It is the Treants that most frustrate me for they are everywhere.
Caepio tells you, Many a day I have found myself cutting down trees or searching the forest for essence residue only to feel the shadow of an approaching treant fall over me. They are an infestation that needs to be removed, <player>. Perhaps you would do this for me? The Saplings near this house would be a start. At least ten of them, mind you.
You've defeated sufficient saplings! Return to the Homestead and speak with Caepio..
Caepio tells you, <player>, the sound of the treants crashing to the ground was music to my ears! I cannot thank you enough.

- Return to Caepio at the Bruttien Homestead
