| Corrupted Pale Essence |
The corruption that plagues the spirits on the Chiconis Battlefield emanates from a foul, but ancient temple known as the Dead Pool. At Watcher Barin's request you stripped the outer layer of defenses from the Dead Pool and are now ready to embark and destroy the source itself.
Quest Text[edit]
Barin tells you, <player>, have you prepared? Good, good. You may need friends to assist you on this leg of your journey, for this will be no easy task. You must travel into the heart of the Dead Pool itself and destroy the spectres that are generating this corruption. My scouts have informed me that they are called Corrupted Spectres. Strike True!
Barin tells you, The guardians have been defeated? Well done, <player>. This will make our next move much easier, though by no means safe. Rest yourself for a moment, then let us continue.
Steps[edit]
- Enter the Dead Pool and destroy three (3) Corrupted Specters
- Collect one (1) Corrupted Essence from the Specters
- Return to Watcher Barin atop the Cleric's Tower
