Ishalin the Ranger has asked for your assistance with the Gruok problem in the forest. They keep eating the mushrooms and chasing off the deer.

Ishalin tells you, There are a great many mushrooms in the forest below and a small number of deer on the ridge above. My friend Tirral and I have been hunting both for several days now. But recently these pesky wild gruoks moved in and have begun eating our mushrooms and chasing off the deer!
Ishalin tells you, <player>, I have no desire for all of the wild gruoks to die, as they serve a part of life in the forest. But perhaps, we could "thin" the forest population though? Then we could at least get a decent shot at the mushrooms and deer. Don't bother with the grulets, focus on the sows and gruoks instead.
You have taken care of ten wild gruoks. You should probably speak with Ishalin..
Ishalin tells you, Back so soon? Oh, you have taken care of my gruok problem? That is most appreciated, my friend! Please accept this small reward as a token of my appreciation.

- Listen to Ishalin the Ranger
- Thin the wild gruok population in the forest by killing at least ten (10) of the wild gruoks or wild gruok sows.
- Speak with Ishalin at the Ranger's Camp about the wild gruoks.
