Khemarius tells you, Well, well. I wondered if you would find your way here at some point. You cannot go much further north, <player>, and from here you can gaze out onto the Northern Sea. It is peaceful to look at, though I have heard tales of its turbulent, mist-shrouded waters. The ancient trandalarns spoke of monsters of air and sea that destroyed their ships if they ventured too far from land. What do you make of that?
- Could they be referring to dragonkind?
Khemarius tells you, Good guess! That was mine as well... Millennia ago, perhaps our people flew and raided the coasts of Trandalar. Who knows... Do you know this place, <player>?
- I do not
Khemarius tells you, Not many do. The Trandalarans called it Drulkar's Retreat, though I cannot discern why. The ancient stones here are not of draconic-make nor is there anything here to tie us to the lands... perhaps Drulkar himself stood on these shores and looked out over the same waters and thought the same things. Wouldn't that be something?

Khemarius tells you, Well, you did not come here to listen to an old dragon speak of ancient tales or muse about what might have been. You are here and ready at long last for the final bit of wisdom I have to pass on about the Drain Bolt. Thankfully, you'll not need Akhanis for this. As you might have anticipated, <player>, I have a mission for you. While you are gone, I'll prepare you another Crystal of Mental Performance Enhancement. Then, hopefully, like me, you too will be able to grasp the final cloudy memory of the crystals's creator. Are you ready?

Khemarius tells you, This task is different from any of the others I have given you, because I demanded it of myself, first. As I've said before, I do not enjoy violence and combat for its own sake. Yet, I felt a great need pressing upon me - a need to seek out battle. A need to test myself, to prove to myself I was worthy of the final secrets of the Drain Bolt. I succeeded, and so the task I give to you is the very one I asked of myself.
- What did you fight?
Khemarius tells you, I am coming to that. South of Harro lies the Spiritous Swamp. Seek out the Turgid Purple Weaver known as Sermontus, the Ravenous Bloodsnout known as Mouf and the Bloodskulk Chieftain called Bulok. These beings embody the strength of spirit in that place. After those beings are defeated I shall meet you atop the Tower of Spirits which stands in the center of the swamp. There I will give you the crystal allow you the final glimpse that you will ever need. Go now, and may Drulkar be with you.
As the last of your foes fall, you feel a sense of purpose and a drive to learn the final tier of the Drain Bolt. Khemarius awaits!
Khemarius tells you, You have done well, <player>. The guardians of the Spiritous Swamp have passed on and given you their blessings. Here is the crystal I promised you. Consume it and learn. I have taught you all I can. If this does not work then the knowledge is simply beyond you. It has been a pleasure sharing this journey of discovery with you, <player>. Wind to thy wings, friend.

You consume the crystal and your gaze clouds for the final time. You see a room filled with a purple mist, the residue of a massive number of spirit spells being cast. Tables are overturned, boulders are scattered about and the shattered remains of crystalline formations lay everywhere. The bodies of vanquished enemies lie silent all around you, their lives taken to sustain yours. The crystal's creator gazes back through your eyes, and the final secrets of the Drain Bolt are revealed to you.
