Lapis Lazuli makes a lovely gemstone with the rich deep blue color, but the golems made from it are where your next challenge is focused. Just north of Observatory Outpost, in the Dalimond Ridge mountain range, large numbers of these lovely deep blue golems roam. Severant has sent you there to prove you're worthy of further training.
