The wife of the commissioner of the Summer Festival has been so busy that she hasn't had enough time to gather everything needed to make festival clothing for everyone. If you get the items she needs, she'll give you the two special masks for the festival out of the stock she has, but she needs supplies to make more.

Quest text[edit]

Wife tells you, You would not believe the amount of work it takes to pull off a festival like this, <player>! I swear, I haven't slept in weeks, what with all the planning and then getting everything prepared. And still I'm afraid we'll run out of food. Or worse yet, the special costumes for the festival that I'm just certain EVERYONE is going to want!

Wife tells you, What?!?! You don't have your costume yet? Of course, you must have one! But if I give you one now, I won't have enough supplies to make more. That's what all this laundry is, you see. I must prepare the fabric for dying. And then once it is dyed properly, it has to be cut. And sewn. And... Oh there are just not enough hours in the day, I tell you! I'll never have these costumes ready in time for the festival.

Dragon:

Wife tells you, And, of course, there's the dragon masks to make. Those require special ingredients different from what the shirts are made from, of course. If you bring me the items that I will need to create more masks, I can give you some from the supply I already have. Would you do that for me? It is a short list. I need 10 slate bricks, 3 Citrine, 2 Aquamarine, and 2 Malachite. If you bring those back to me, I can give you the masks. I just don't have time to prepare all those ingredients myself. That shouldn't be too much trouble, should it?

Biped:

Wife tells you, I know! If you bring me the items that I will need to create more shirts, I can give you some from the supply I already have. Would you do that for me? It is a short list. I need 10 spools of Kenaf thread, 3 brown dye, 2 blue dye, and 2 light green dye. If you bring those back to me, I can give you the costumes. That shouldn't be too much trouble, should it?

Wife tells you, You have all the items for me? Please, let me see them. Give me a moment to be sure they are what I need. Only the best spun kenaf will do, of course!

Wife tells you, These are wonderful! My compliments to the crafters. I should ask their names should I need more in the future! Here are your costumes. Consider them a reward for a job well done.

Steps[edit]

(BIPED) Return to the Commissioner's wife with 10 spools of Kenaf thread, 3 brown dye, 2 blue dye, and 2 light green dye and she will give you the costume shirts for this year's summer festival.
(DRAGON) Return to the Commissioner's wife with 10 slate bricks, 3 Citrine, 2 Aquamarine, and 2 Malachite and she will give you the costume masks for this year's summer festival.
Give her a moment to look at the items you've just given her, then greet the Commissioner's wife again for your reward.
