Near the Frozen Lakes of Mahagra is where you'll find the Nix Beetles. They're a bit squishier than their icy cousins, so should be easy pickins for collecting trophies.

Bag 5 Nix Beetle Compound Eyes and return to the Trophy Hunter in either Mahagra or New Rachival. Near the Frozen Lakes outside of Mahagra is where you'll find the Nix Beetles.
The only good Nix Beetle is a dead Nix Beetle. Go make some good Nix Beetles along the coast, southeast of Mahagra, dead.
