Ancient tombs are being plundered and relics stolen by the Withered Aegis. Cleric Beccan Tandis is concerned that the Symbols of Istara that are located within each tomb may be stolen or destroyed.

Ah there you are, <player>. You did well at the Tomb of Borannis. I am sure that recovering that symbol was not easy! Nevertheless, it is our duty to Istara to save her relics and to preserve the magics held within them. The Withered Aegis cannot be allowed to keep them or to corrupt them. I do not know what could happen if they did, but I do know that it would not be good for all of us.
Now, I have heard that you will be entering the Tomb of Crankenspank next. Correct? Well, <Adventurer School>, this tomb also has a Symbol of Istara that you must recover. Be careful, however, for this tomb is more dangerous than the last. There are no good tales of the sorcerer known as Crankenspank nor of his master, Nazderon. Istara Protect You!
Recover the Symbol of Istara from the Tomb of Crankenspank. Defeat the Risen Sorcerer known as Crankenspank and check its corpse.

Search the Sarcophagi in the Tomb of Crankenspank for the Symbol of Istara

- Search the Sarcophagi in the Tomb of Crankenspank for the Symbol of Istara
- Deliver the Symbol of Istara to Cleric Tandis in Dalimond
