Private Alis Talor was posted to King's Cross outpost a few months ago and has seen a rise in the amount of trade along the roads, but also an increase in the presence of Brownback Wolves.
Quest text[edit]
Alis tells you, Hail, <player>, and welcome to King's Cross! What brings you here? Passing through or doing a bit of adventuring? Well, either way should you need anything just give me a shout. And perhaps if I need anything from you I could do the same? Yes? Then I will be shouting right now.
Alis tells you, Well, you see... King's Cross has seen an increase in trade along the roads from Bristugo to Central Valley and beyond over the months I've been posted here. But with the regrowth of the forests we've also seen more beasts returning and in some cases getting bold! The wolves, <player>, are becoming dangerous. Its the blasted Brownbacks! They are aggressive and unfortunately hungry and that makes them very bold and prone to attack travelers such as yourself.
Alis tells you, I could use some assistance as I am the only member of the militia posted here and I cannot leave my post to go hunting wolves. That is where you come in! Perhaps you would be willing to enter the forest and thin the population of brownbacks a little? Twelve of them should suffice I would think!
Alis tells you, I heard their cries from here, <player>! Well done, well done indeed! That will set the wolves back for a while and give the travelers that pass through on these roads a chance to move their goods unmolested and unthreatened.
Steps[edit]
- Listen to Private Talor
- Enter the nearby forest and kill twelve (12) Brownback Wolves
- Return to King's Cross and speak with Private Alis of your success
