You have gained some small amount of experience on your path as a Lairshaper, but there is much more to learn and a long road yet ahead of you. Relstaroth has deemed you worthy of further instruction.

Quest text

Relstaroth tells you, Welcome back, <player>. You are fine work, so I hear, practicing your new trade. That is as it should be. I feel you have reached the next plateau of learning, though you already possess the knowledge to create the products you will need. You are ready to move beyond the basic resources you have been using: bronze, sandstone, dim essence, viridian crystals. Indeed, you are ready to move to the second tier of resource types.

Relstaroth tells you, The first set you will learn will again be Imbued Bars, Excoriations and Primal Essence. This time, however, you will be working with the next tier of resources; silver, slate, pale essence, cerulean crystals. Imbued Silver Bars will be your first task. Silver, <player>, was always preferred by the ancients over iron. It has less strength, but much more beauty. The essence you add binds to the metal imbuing it with more strength than the metal alone can contain. Take the formula you have, use your knowledge and create twelve (12) Imbued Silver Bars. Bring them to me when you have completed them.

Relstaroth tells you, Well done, <player>. Yes, I can tell that quality of these bars is much higher. Your skills are indeed improving. The next resource you will be craftingis Mild Excoriation of Earth. Using stronger materials allows for a better and more resilient material to apply to the floor of the lair. The Mild Excoriation combines iron bars and slate bricks into a strong surface. Use the formula you have and bring me twelve (12) Mild Excoriations of Earth to examine.

Relstaroth tells you, Good, good. These will do nicely, <player>. It is obvious that you are becoming more comfortable with the materials you are crafting. Now, the final resource you learn to craft will be Primal Essence of Fusion. The more potent the essence, the stronger the material used in construction. Using a finer class of stone improves the absorption of the essence, improving overall strength. Use the formula you already have and use your hard won knowledge to create twelve (12) Primal Essence of Fusion. Bring them to me when you have completed the task.

Relstaroth tells you, Hmmm . . . These will work, though they are not as good as I had hoped. You are still young in the ways of lairs. You will do better the next time, yes? So, <player>, you have now created construction materials with a range of new resources, slate, silver, pale essence and even iron. You can now begin working with the more advanced sections of your lair that require Tier 2 resources. It has been long since the world of Istaria saw such creations as you are undertaking, <player>, and for that you should feel proud.

Relstaroth tells you, Proud of your work, <player>, not of what has become of dragon society. Oh, yes, have been some cases of improvement, but we, as a people, have fallen far since the days before the Great Schism. When I returned to this land, I traveled for months on end. I explored the lands including the blighted areas that dot the land. I even gained a few new scars in the process. Scars that I will leave as a reminder of what we have lost and how much of our birthright we have yet to recover. But, you are doing well and for that you should be commended. Go, practice your skills, and return here when you have gained greater mastery of lairshaping.
