Quest text[edit]

Semeneth tells you, Dragon! What brings you here? Do you need assistance or are you looking for something else?

Semeneth tells you, The Dragon Helian? You wish to learn of her? My, that's new. No one has asked of her story in a long time; the name has become one and the same with her faction these days. Unfortunately, much of the details are lost to time, but I'll tell you what I know.

Semeneth tells you, While I don't remember when she was born, I know that she passed away in 344 B.R. Nyestra Helian was known as a renowned scholar and philosopher around the time of the Schism. When tensions with the Humans rose, she worked tirelessly to soothe the nerves of both parties. She worked her hardest to try to fend off a looming draconic civil war, which is likely what she is known for.

Semeneth tells you, Yes, young Gifted, she held off a grueling civil war. Dragons who believed in treating the naka'duskael one way were constantly stepping on the talons of those who believed in other ways. Helian was among those who believed that Dragons, as the oldest and wisest race, should lead the naka into the future. Sounds familiar, does it not? The faction she created and led with these ideals took on her name, but was opposed by many. Malganival Lunus was the most known among these, as you might know. Helian foresaw disaster between her and other factions, so instead of succumbing to a fight, she led the exodus of her followers from Dralk, settling here in these mountains.

Semeneth tells you, After that, our knowledge of her is lost. The only other details we know are a few lights in the long timespan she lived, such as her vehement opposition to the destruction of the Human Kingdom of Barasavus. Two hundred years later, before the Schism, she was among a few ancient Dragons to stay behind when the Gate of Embers closed. She was buried far southwest of Chiconis, in the Dalimond Ridge. A massive Dragon statue stands guard at the entrance; you cannot miss it. Though, I warn you, young Dragon; do not disturb her tomb without reason! She deserves these millennia to rest in peace.

Semeneth tells you, Unfortunately, that is all we know, young Gifted. Not much, if anything, was written in those days, so we only have the memories passed down from our elders to remember them by.

Semeneth tells you, Oh, I barely knew her myself, young one. She passed before I got to know her as a companion, but not before I was able to raise my standing within the Helians to become the next leader. Brysmendrik knew her as an adult years and years ago, but he may be the last beyond the Council of Ancients. Now, I hate to cut our chat short, but I've many things I should probably attend to!
