Information[edit]
Having freed Niesa from her enslavement and having defeated her oppressor, Niesa has begun to remember much of what she had once known in life. She has promised to give you the recipe that she claims will deal a great blow to the enemy. First, however, you must help her finish her research.
Quest text[edit]
Niesa tells you, <player>, you have done me such favors I can never repay you in full. Nevertheless, as one Alchemist to another, I feel that it is our duty to finish the herculean task I began all those years ago. I speak of the King of Potions!
Niesa tells you, A potion that would be a powerful weapon against the forces of the Withered Aegis, perhaps and aid to end the war once and for all. It is the reason I traveled here to the deadlands so long ago and what led to my ensorcellment and predicament.
Niesa tells you, <player>, I failed. I was not able to complete my potion despite my efforts. I spent more than a year criss-crossing these deadlands in a vain attempt to collect the necessary ingredients, but one eluded me. As you well know, every potion consists of five components: a container, a base liquid, two reagents or what the layman call ingredients, and a catalyst of some sort to begin the reaction.
Niesa tells you, I was not able to locate a working catalyst. Oh, I tried many resources some of which my colleagues back at the Guild of Alchemists in Tazoon have never heard of or even considered trying to use! In the end, however, I came up with nothing that would work. I failed.
Niesa tells you, Now that you are here, <player>, and have helped free me from my bonds it is my sincerest hope that together we might at long last discover the final component for my potion, the elusive catalyst! Will you help me?
Niesa tells you, You will? Excellent! Well, let us waste no time then. *she smiles broadly* Now, as I said before every potion has five components. For this potion, only the best and rarest will suffice. Since I cannot easily leave I rely upon you to gather them together. After you have collected the four known components we shall tackle the catalyst together. Agreed?
