A disaster is in the making! The Withered Aegis are attempting to open the northern gates of Old Rachival and begin spreading out into the Winter Vale and beyond. Engineer Gaskettan needs your help in ensuring this does not happen.
Quest text[edit]
Tinod tells you, <player>, time is short! Disaster is looming over us all! We must hurry else the northern gate of Rachival may be breached. You killed many of the Ruined Engineers, but I fear it will not be enough. It may already be too late!
Tinod tells you, <player>, you must go back and kill more. But, this time focus on the Overseers. Yes, I think killing more of them will certainly do the trick! Ruined Overseers, <player>! Two of them! While you are it, steal the spanners from the Ruined Engineers. That will deal a double-blow!
You have stolen sufficient spanners from the Ruined Engineers..
Tinod tells you, Oh, oh! Overseers defeated, spanners stolen, yes this will do nicely. I think you have set them back, <player>! Perhaps weeks or longer. You have my thanks.
Steps[edit]
- Listen to Tinod Gaskettan
- Defeat two (2) Ruined Overseers near the northern gate of Rachival
- Steal eight (8) Blighted Spanners from the Ruined Engineers near the northern gate of Rachival
- Return to Tinod Gaskettan at the Gnomian Outpost
