Ancient tombs are being plundered and relics stolen by the Withered Aegis. At the direction of Paladin Geriad Batel you researched the location of the first tomb, the Tomb of Borannis, and have discerned its location to be somewhere in or near the Dalimond Ridge.
Quest text[edit]
Dragon Adventurer, you are prepared for your journey? Good! The Tomb of Borannis must lie somewhere near the Dalimond Ridge and someone near there must have seen or heard of it. I would head to Bristugo and speak with the militia Sergeant there, he may know its location. Once you find the tomb, do what you can to safeguard it. May Istara Watch Over You!
<player>, it is good to see you again. What can I do for you today? The Tomb of Borannis? I do not know the name, but fear not... I do know of some ancient ruins near the foot of the ridge. You can reach them by taking the road south towards King's Cross. Speak to Private Talor, he should be able to direct you further.
Tomb of Borannis? Never heard of it, <player>. There are some ruins just south of here though, maybe they're what you're looking for? Head south along the road, but keep your eye out... they're along the ridge west of the road. If you reach Central Valley, you went too far!
<player>, did you find the tomb? And the denizens within? Risen Skeletons were they? Well, that should have been no match for one such as you! Well done. It would appear much damage has been done to the tombs. There was a necromancer!
Indeed? Well, that would explain much about the activity in the tombs. Nevertheless, the Tomb of Borannis is recovered and those interred can now be left in peace as Istara wished them to be. You have done well and served the Confederation, Empire and Istara.
Steps[edit]
- Speak with Sergeant Jonis in Bristugo about the location of the Tomb of Borannis
- Speak with Private Alis Talor in King's Cross about the location of the Tomb of Borannis
- Head south to King's Cross and locate the Tomb of Borannis just beyond. Private Talor said it might be west of the road, but if you reach Central Valley you went too far!

- Destroy ten (10) Risen Skeletons in the Tomb of Borannis
- Destroy the Risen Necromancer within the Tomb
- Return to Dalimond and tell Paladin Batel of your success
- Speak with Paladin Batel
