Ancient Tombs across the Dalimond Peninsula have been desecrated by the Withered Aegis. Archbishop Tomas Agua is concerned about the possibility that the Tomb of Helian, an iconic figure of Dragon society and founder of Chiconis, may also have been desecrated.
Quest text[edit]
Tomas tells you, Dragon Adventurer, you have done well and have proven your heart to the Clerical Order and to all of Istaria. There is another matter of which I have not dared discuss until now. It concerns the Dragons and you would be wise to speak with them about this soon... I would advise discretion, however.
- Why?
Tomas tells you, You see, since we learned of the desecration of ancient tombs the fate of Ashlander's Tomb weighed heavily on my mind. A fair concern, given his position among my people. However, I also feared for the fate of another tomb, one no less well-known. One that, if desecrated and the matter not handled properly, could lead to a rift between our races yet again. I speak of the Tomb of Helian of course, the great leader of the Dragons and the founder of the City of Crystal, Chiconis.
- Oh!
Tomas tells you, So you see, <player>, it is a delicate matter, but it must be brought to the Elders of Chiconis for only they have the authority to enter that most revered and ancient of tombs. Go to Chiconis and speak with the one known as Memni.
Memni tells you, <player>, you come before me at the most dire of times... The world is aflame with war and chaos! Even here on this peninsula there is devilry and disorder... What is it you seek or wish to discuss?
- The Tomb of Helian may have been disturbed by the undead
Memni tells you, The Tomb of Helian? Desecrated? Are you sure? Of course you are, otherwise you wouldn't have brought it to my attention. Sacrilege! And to have it brought to our attention by a naka... *she shakes her head* This is a grave matter, <player>, and one which we must resolve and quickly! You will be our instrument in this matter. Prepare yourself!
