Much of the northern land of Istaria is barren and empty of anything but snow. The area east of the road from Summit to Drift Point is so empty, in fact, it has been called the "Frozen Wastes". Thankfully you won't have to travel that far to find the Nix Beetles that you are looking for for this challenge.
Quest text[edit]
Defeat twelve (12) Lesser Nix Beetles. Hint: Travel to either Summit or Drift Point on the Mahagra Tundra. From there you'll make your way to a series of frozen lakes that have Nix Beetles nearby.
I've selected your opponents for this trial. You did so well in the cold last time that I'm sending you to the Mahagra Tundra. There you'll find a series of frozen lakes, and near those lakes are what the locals call Nix Beetles. No idea how they got this as a name, but that's what they are called. I want you to defeat twelve of the lesser variety to prove yourself worthy of my time and training.
