You've learned much about the Dragon Ruin on Dalimond Ridge. It was abandoned six centuries ago during the Great Schism and that it was a hub of magical research. Dennison is interested in pursuing this part further.
Quest text[edit]
Dennison tells you, <player>, I have been rereading the tomes and have gleaned more information from their pages. It would seem that the ruin from which you recovered the artifact was a hub of ancient magical research. Of what type I do not know for certain, but this is most interesting nonetheless! There may be more magical artifacts present in the ruin. Perhaps we can locate them?
Dennison tells you, I have heard mention of crystals often in recent days and they are not always speaking about the present. In fact, some references are nearly always in reference to Dragons. This is curious because the art of working crystals has long been lost. Perhaps we can find one in this ruin, yes? Go back there and search for one. Who knows what you may find!
You've reached the ruins, begin your search for a dragon crystal! Search for at least 60 seconds....
After a fruitless search, you are nearly ready to give up when catch a glimpse of a large spirit south beyond the fallen rocks. Perhaps it holds the key?.
Dennison tells you, What have you there, <player>? You found a crystal amongst the ruins? I was right! *he claps his hands and laughs* Do not let go of that crystal, Ranger, it is most precious. Well done.
Steps[edit]
- Search the Ruins for a Dragon Crystal
- Triggers at 21769/21514(map). After one minute of waiting, the quest updates again.
- Defeat Gantorin, the Dragon Spirit
- Loot an Ancient Memory Crystal from the corpse of Gantorin
- Return to Dalimond and show Dennison of your discovery
