Shau needs help to survive the harsh desert conditions. With water needs dealt with, he now needs help dealing with local wildlife.
Quest text[edit]
"Howlers" - four legged, fanged beasts covered in fur. They travel in ruthless packs and howl at night to each other for some reason I do not know. I know not their names - just their efficiency in tackling prey.
We call them Wolves.
It matters not what they are called. They are simply beasts honed to perfection in these lands. Savage, intelligent, efficient. I've had to tangle with groups of them over many nights. While I am in awe of these animals, they are a nuisance to me.
It sounds like you are sleeping with one eye open.
I need respite from the beasts that would consume me. For every night I fight for my life, I am less likely to keep it come daybreak. Nature demands that only the strongest survive.
You must dominate the beasts before they strike again.
I'm guessing that means hunting wolves.
It does mean you will be hunting them. I do not wish you to allow them to rot in the sun, however. I want you to bring back the pelts and their flesh. I'm in no position to waste these resources. Twenty should allow me some room to live.
You seem to have culled the wolf population enough that Shau can sleep tonight. The resources gained will also last him a while. You should return to him.

- Slay at least 20 Jade Howlers
- Loot 12 Jade Howler Pelts
- Harvest 20 pieces of wolf meat using Dragon Intuition ability or Istarian Army Knife.
- Return and speak with Shau
