Though both Trandalar and Kirasanct are cold destinations for a dragon to have to fight in, Xerix seems sure of your ability to defeat Gold Golems, so that is your present task.
Quest text[edit]
Kill twelve (12) Gold Golems. The Gold Golems are found on Trandalar as well as north of Kirasanct.
Do you remember when I had you kill silver golems? I have a similar task for you. I want you to go kill twelve Gold Golems. You see, they carry components necessary for the Helian Rite of Passage. I recommend enriching yourself at their expense. That's the mercenary life. I mention this because Lisandia asked me to do her a favor and collect some fragments to donate to her faction. She never said how many she needed. But I'm sure if you kill twelve of the Gold Golems, whatever fragements you find will suffice.
Game Feedback: Does Xerix simply have a grudge against golems? Probably better not to ask.
