They will be found in the Dark Forest, but will not be an easy challenge to overcome as they are often protected by larger Dark Crawlers.

Ssoren did not specify that you only need to kill the Dark Crawler Hatchlings, though those are the easiest. The important part is that you kill 20 of them to provide enough legs for the practical joke. They can be found in the Dark Forests, which is near Spire's Shadow.
Ssoren would like to return the favor of a friend of hiss for a practical joke. Ssoren cannot say exactly what he will do to his friend yet. Ssoren only knowss that he would like to fill his friend'ss vault with chopped up ssspider legsss. Can you go kill a few and Ssoren will be able to collect them later?
