Zuyazu has sent you to seek out Taiwen, who supposedly has something to make his batch of weapons even "better".
Quest text[edit]
I need a little bit more... oomph. Magic-wise. Head north to the fouled water cathedral - avoid the priests. Look for Taiwen. Be discreet about speaking to her - I'd hate to see that pretty face on a pike.

Zuyazu shows you an array of newly forged Welger blades.
They seem convincing, do they not? You wouldn't tell they were made with garbage alloy I've engineered to break and hold no usable edge. The ruby's curse mixed with those ingredients just adds that extra terrible kick on each one by making it impossible to let go of any of these weapons I've made even if the blue embers burn them.
Won't the other Welger kill you for this?
If they break, I can just shrug and ask for better metal with no consequences and they wouldn't know that I'd made them this way with intent. And the curse? The place is pretty much pulsing with magic fallout - I have an excuse there.
This is why you don't make an enemy of a master blacksmith. We might need to "fix" your weapon someday for you.
... Er, okay. Noted. What now?

- Collect a Volatile Hex Bag (Complete Quest "Taiwen: Reanimating Death" )
- Return to Zuyazu with the volatile bag.
- Allow Zuyazu some time to work on his "masterpieces".
- Talk to Zuyazu
