Ancient tombs are being plundered and relics stolen by the Withered Aegis. The location of the Tomb of Crankenspank is well known and Paladin Geriad wants you to investigate it.
Quest text[edit]
Geriad tells you, You did well with the Tomb of Borannis, <player>, and we are grateful. But it was just the first of three tombs we must investigate and protect. The next may well be one of the most difficult, though its location is well known... It is the tomb of the sorcerer known as Crankenspank.
Geriad tells you, Why is its location so well known when the Tomb of Borannis was not? Well, <player>, it lies not far from Dalimond itself. Leave through the March Gate and then take the road to the south-southeast. Not far off the road you will see the ruined entrance to the tomb. Be careful, <player>! It may lie close to the city and may seem open, but like the other tomb it is likely haunted by the undead. *He salutes you* Istara Protect You!
You've located the Tomb of Crankenspank! Now it is time to eradicate the denizens that have disturbed the resting place of those interred here!.
Geriad tells you, <player>, that you have returned tells me all I need to know! The Tomb was found, the undead within destroyed. Yes? Good, good. From what you say much damage has been done to the tombs and those within. This is unfortunate. We will discuss more of that soon.
Steps[edit]
- Locate the entrance to the Tomb of Crankenspank which lies south-southeast of Dalimond
- Triggers at 23471/22433(map).
- Destroy ten (10) Risen Skeletons in the Tomb of Crankenspank
- Return to Dalimond and tell Paladin Batel of your success
