Word of the help you provided the Guard-Captain has spread to the Mayor of New Rachival. Attacking the Cultists did little to stop them, but the Mayor has another plan to learn of the Cult and destroy it with its own teachings.

Lem tells you, My friend, word of your deeds has spread far and wide. Your warning to the cultists should have delivered the fateful blow to their ambitions, but it would seem they are not so easily swayed.

Lem tells you, I have exchanged letters with the Clerical Order regarding our situation and they have suggested we discover what has inspired others to follow this cult. Members of the Defense Force have stated that certain cultists are often seen carrying a book, some sort of holy book I assume. We need to recover those books from these cultists!

Lem tells you, Ah, good, there you are. You have the books?  *he flips through the pages of one*  This is nonsense, <Player>!  Fabrications of the highest order!  *he throws the books down*  Burn them, they will do us no good.

Hubert tells you, Excuse me, <Player>?

Hubert tells you, <Player>, I could not help but overhear the Mayor's concerns over this book. *he picks one of the books up and begins looking it over*  This is quite intriguing, though as the Mayor said, also extremely heretical.

Lem shouts, 'Lies!  Utter nonsense is what it is.  They should be burned.'

Hubert says, 'Perhaps, Lem, but perhaps we have an opportunity to learn more.'
