Sergeant Gaedin has his doubts about your abilities as a warrior. He feels you must prove to him that you have learned your skills well and that you have the potential to continue on to more advanced training.
Quest text[edit]
Gaedin tells you, Well, well, <player>, you have surprised me. I did not expect you to reach this level of advancement. I have had my doubts about your ability as a warrior. Now is your chance to prove me wrong!
Gaedin tells you, As I am sure you can tell just by looking around, New Trismus was recently attacked. Burned many of the buildings here about nearly to the ground. But it is the job of builders to rebuild. It is our job to defend what remains of this town..
Gaedin tells you, You have also recently learned how to interrupt incoming attacks, causing them to be much less damaging or even miss. This ability, that we call 'Negate Attack', is very useful when timed properly against dangerous or deadly foes. You think you are quick enough to negate the attacks of the Reanimated Warriors (Invae Skeleton)? Well, now's your chance to prove it. Try this at least three times to gain a better understanding of how it works and of the importance of timing. Head out there and defeat at least 5 skeletons and help defend this town. Then we can talk about continuing your training as a warrior.

Steps[edit]
- Listen to Sergeant Gaedin
- Just north east of town the Reanimated (Invae) Warriors still threaten the town. Head out and defeat 5 of them before coming back to Sergeant Gaedin.
- Use the ability 'Negate Attack' three (3) times in combat.
- Speak with Sergeant Gaedin in the Tavern
