Nando Fruthak is looking for ancients runes at the Oasis of Brethil.

The dunes and canyons hide many secrets, <player>, and I would ask you to help me uncover some of them. To the northwest, near a place known as the Oasis of Brethil, lies the Canyons of Mellohndar. There, within the canyons, are the ruins of the ancient city of the same name.

Nazderon's grand city that some say is cursed, while others speak of the dangers that abound within the swirling sands and twisting canyons. Legends, however, speak of the magic that built the city and that, if some myths can be believed, imbues nearly everything from that time.

It is these magical artifacts that I am interested in, but more specifically, in the Runes of Mellohndar that are found throughout the ruins. Find me these runes, <player>, and I will reward you handsomely.

- Return to Nando Fruthak at the Tower of Healing with the Ancient Runes
