Trader Avarnos is interested in the chitin, the external carapace, of the Un'zagil Fyakki who inhabit the Ruins of Mellohndar. This chitin is particularly valuable across the Empire.

Avarnos tells you, Well, well, one of the Gifted. Would you be interested in a fair bit of profit, <player>?
Avarnos tells you, Yes? Excellent, most excellent. Here beneath the warming gaze of Merrasat, one can find both riches and relief. You are here, so perhaps you are interested in riches, at least?
Avarnos tells you, The canyons which once housed the grand city of Mellohndar are now inhabited by a brood of Fyakki known as the Un'zagil. They are particularly fierce, but with highly resistant chitin. It is their chitin that I am most interested in, <player>!
Avarnos tells you, Go into the canyons, harvest at least sixteen units of their chitin for me and I will share with you a sizable portion of my profit.
