Alban the Adventurer was wounded while exploring in the Frontier and has taken refuge with the Blackhammer family at their farmstead. He wishes you to carry a letter for him to his aunt, Lady Kendra, in Kion to let her know he is safe.
Quest text[edit]
Alban tells you, <player>, are you traveling to or from Delgarath? I was traveling to the city, but was attacked and overwhelmed by the Risen Gruok that roam the nearby hills. Nasty things, they are! I fought many a Gruok back in my homeland of Lesser Aradoth and in my pride thought I could handle a few undead ones. But as you can see, I took a tusk in my thigh.
Alban tells you, In fact, if it were not for the Blackhammers I would have died out there. But Beltar came to my rescue and with his father's help they dragged me back here and Millie has patched me up. I may remain here for a while, to help repay their hospitality. It is the least I could do!
Alban tells you, Since I cannot leave yet, would you do me a favor? It would mean a lot to me, <player>. You see, I set out from Kion several weeks ago, telling my Aunt I was traveling to Delgarath to help the Iron Guard. But I never made it and I don't want her to worry. Perhaps you would carry a letter to her for me?
Alban tells you, Oh thank you, <player>! You can find her in a large house on the hill above Kion. Her name is Lady Kendra, perhaps you know of her? Carry this letter to her and tell her I am safe and recouperating. Merrassat go with you.

Kendra tells you, Welcome to Kion, <player>. What can I do for you? A letter from my nephew, Alban? He made it to Delgarath then? I trust his journeys are going well... He was wounded? This is not good news, but I thank you for bringing this to me. You have served him and Kion well. Please accept this as a token of my gratitude.
