Amtoo Fruthak was sent on a mission to investigate an ancient fortress on the Trandalaran coast. He perished in a terrible blizzard and was not able to complete the mission. That fortress has been defiled and he wishes you to help cleanse it!
Quest text[edit]
Amtoo tells you, Perhaps you will help me again, <player>? You are strong for a Saris, stronger even than the Trandalaran dead that roam the refuge. There is a strong presence I have felt to the east, a Corsair.
Amtoo tells you, The leader of the Trandalarans, Corsairs once led their people far and wide and pillaged the villages of the other races. But now the Corsair is a tool of evil and must be destroyed.Return to the Refuge, <player>, destroy the Corsair and his minions, the Scourge.
Amtoo tells you, The passing of the Corsair was like nothing I have ever felt, <player>! A terrible pull at my spirit, perhaps even the living such as you felt it? No? *a shudder passes through him* Terrible it was. But, it was destroyed and that is what matters. You have done well and you have my thanks. Please, take this, as I have no more need of it.

- Listen to the Spirit, Amtoo
- Defeat eight (8) Trandalaran Scourge
- Defeat the Trandalaran Corsair
- Return to the Spirit of Amtoo at his Camp
