As part of the effort to forment dissension among the ranks, Angwu wants you to help re-supply the soldiers. The Withered Aegis and generals care little for the well-being of their troops and Angwu feels that filling their bellies may help sway their minds.

<player>, I have been betrayed and I fear I am dying. Korrakaus will return soon with additional wardens and I cannot walk. Go, flee, and tell Shau of what we have begun here. He will know what to do... thank... you...

Ah, and how is my old friend?
- He was betrayed by those he was meeting with and gravely wounded in battle. When he sent me to you he was dying.
Betrayed? And dying? My enemies survive, <player>, but my friends are slowly being taken away. Vengeance will be mine, I swear it by Varrantoth's Fist and Daggarth's Fury.
- I am ready, what first?
Vengeance will be sweet, I swear this to you, but now is not yet the time. They are on the lookout for usurpers and agitators now, it will not be safe. Soon, however, our time will come!

- Defeat the Varan Wardens that are attacking you and Angwu
- Speak with Angwu in the Ruin of Tazoon
- Speak with Emperor Shau at his camp to the south of the Ruin of Tazoon about Angwu's death
