You have delivered a crate of cursed weapons. While he distributes them, Angwu has an important task for you to complete.
Quest text[edit]
I was once the general at the head of Shau's military. I retired to a lower post of old age and my son ascended to my position. He was slain in battle, and had no son, so his second in command assumed the role and bowed to the undead.
He now sits within these walls frantically planning with withered dead how to best survive the siege.
(Sounds like a good opportunity to strike at some leaders.)
Some of my men still respect me, and care little for Zauxen. By cutting the head off the serpent, you will create a power void that many will try to claim. They will fight each other, instead of the military outside.
I will seize the gap after some time, with my support, and you will have culled some of the dead's decent war strategists. You won't have a better opportunity. Gather your allies, and go.
Time to get this party going.
What's this? A copper coin? Oh, a gift from Angwu? Good... I've heard General Zauxen had an "accident".
Angwu will spend time gaining support and fanning the flames in the power vacuum... At least enough that someday we will have one last battle and face Varrantoth in the end, but perhaps freedom may come of it, too. You held up your end. Now it is time to hold up my end.
