Continuing with his research, Balit is in need of components that cannot be found on the island. He has prepared a list of them for you and asks that you collect them so that he can develop a potential cure for lycanthropy.

I'm glad to see you again, <player>. I have done more research on the infected tissues and I have found out I could use them directly to create a cure for lycanthropy. But once again, I need your help for the components.

Tee-hee... I'm sorry for abusing your kindness. But I am powerless on this island. Here is the list.
Speak with Balit
As you can read, I need a few more samples of infected tissues. After my experiences, the ones you brought me earlier are too damaged to be used.
Collect the ingredients Balit asked you for.

Acquire 10 Bright Essence Orbs. You can either craft them by yourself, or trade them with a Consigner or a player of your choice.

It's ready to use, <player>. However, I'm not confident yet to use it in battle. You would need a surface wound to not infect you deeply... that's not something you can ask to werewolves lurking around.

- Acquire 2 Opal Golem Chips. You can either loot them by yourself, or trade them with a Consigner or a player of your choice.
- Loot one (1) Werewolf Heart
- Loot one (1) Werewolf Bone
- Return to Balit with the requested components and the list he gave you
- Wait for Balit to complete his cure
- Speak to Balit about the cure
- Speak to Balit again
- Wait for the salve to have an effect
- Kill five (5) Lesser or Greater Werewolves to test Balit's salve
- Return to Balit with your results
