Now that you understand how to work metal, Wulfgar wants you to work with wood.

Talk to Wulfgar.
Sometimes, the materials for what we craft differ. We don't make everything out of metals. Occasionally, we get an order for items that require a different skill and tool. For this, we have the ability to craft items with wood and stone alongside metal. For this task I want you to practice using wood. You should already have the tools for this - you should have an axe, a wood saw, and a board plane. If not, talk to me again and bug me for equipment - I can get ya covered!
Head down that path to the northwest and walk until you find yerself a bridge. Cross the river and head into the woods; you should find some cedar trees that are ready to be chopped down. Cut down those trees using that axe until you have enough to make fifteen cedar boards at the nearby woodworking shop. Finally, craft one Cedar Crossbow and return to me. Good luck!
Craft one (1) Cedar Crossbow. To do so, gather logs from the Cedar Trees past the river and refine them into Cedar Boards. Use your Board Plane to then craft the Boards into a Crossbow.

Aha, welcome back! I see you have crafted yourself a nice Crossbow. Let me have a look at it! Wood is a little more fickle than metal; it's easy to make one wrong move and ruin the project completely. But this seems sturdy enough. If you plan to be a Warrior or a Scout, ya can probably make good use of this. Otherwise, pawn it once ya get to New Trismus.

- Talk to Wulfgar.
- Craft one (1) Cedar Crossbow. To do so, gather logs from the Cedar Trees past the river and refine them into Cedar Boards. Use your Board Plane to then craft the Boards into a Crossbow.
- Return to Wulfgar.
