Scholar Kayl Reynos previously sent you to the Tomb of Ashlander Vandus to collect Ancient Wrappings from the Tomb Guards found there. She had hoped they would help further her research into the Spirit realm, but unfortunately they did not. Now, she's sending you back to collect ghostly ectoplasm from the Furious Shades that roam the halls of the tomb.
Quest text[edit]
Kayl tells you, Cleric, welcome back. Unfortunately the wrappings you brought me from the Ancient Tomb Guards in Ashlander's Tomb did not contain the evidence I had hoped for. So that means that we will need to make another attempt to recover items from the undead found within the tomb.
Kayl tells you, For this attempt, I believe we should target the Furious Shades. As they are insubstantial this may prove a better source for my research. <player>, return to the tomb and collect Ghostly Ectoplasm from the Furious Shades found there. Good luck!

- Listen to Scholar Reynos
- Collect eight (8) units of Ghostly Ectoplasm from the Furious Shades in Ashlander's Tomb
- Return to the Cleric's Tower with the Ghostly Ectoplasm and speak with Scholar Kayl Reynos
