Stromba and the entire Enclave of Mages is grateful to you for your role in stopping Nazderon. They also wish to convey their heartfelt thanks to Shau for his help in stopping the power-mad sorcerer.
Quest text[edit]
Stromba tells you, Your efforts on behalf of the Enclave of Mages and also the Living Races has been extraordinary <player>. We cannot express the depth of our gratitude and admiration.

Stromba tells you, There is another, however, that we also wish to express our gratitude and thanks to. This Welger, the one you called Shau, without his assistance in this endeavor we could not have succeeded. Nazderon would have risen to become even more powerful and who knows what havoc he might have wrecked upon the Empire and Aradoth.
- True, without the BattleStone.
Stromba tells you, Exactly! He could very well have treated us all like the enemy and remained indifferent to our plight. Yet, he did not, and you were able to use this Battlestone to deliver the death-blow to Nazderon and stop his reign of terror before it could even begin.
- His assistance was not entirely altruistic.
Stromba tells you, Whose are, <player>? Everyone has their own motivations and reasons for what they do, for the aid they render or the harm they inflict. Nevertheless, the Enclave wishes to extend our gratitude to this Welger for his help. Please, deliver this to him along with our thanks.
Shau tells you, You have returned. What can one poor Welger help you with this time?

Shau tells you, Mages... Pah. Like my people, I have no love for magic or those who use it. I see the irony of the matter, <player>. Using magic to defeat my enemies while disapproving of those who wield it. This gift, what is it?

Shau tells you, Trust is required it would seem. Very well. It has words on it I think... I cannot read it, but if what you say is true then I do not need to. They thank me for my help, but cannot come speak to me directly. They are afraid of either me or of their own people should they be discovered coming here.
- Yes, you are probably right
Shau tells you, Of course, <player>. People are the same no matter what they look like or where they come from. A sad, but also comforting fact of existence. Thank you for bringing this to me, but it is worth less than the sands I stand on. Sand, at least, has uses... but gratitude? What can you use it for? Pah... Perhaps you will stay and comfort an old Welger for it is always good to see a familiar and friendly face in these dire times.
