Kerian the Wise has her claws full dealing with all of the new crafters trying to learn from her and needs some assistance creating the actual weapons and armor that dragons in New Trismus need.

Greetings, hatchling. What do you need? Claws, scales, spells?

Hah! I wish I had them, too, young one. Look, with all of the younglings like you coming to me looking for assistance in learning craft, I've had almost no time to produce the actual supplies we need. I can't take on any more apprentices - at least not until they learn to make their own gear! Unless, that is, you actually want to get your claws dirty and help me put together some gear.
- Getting my claws dirty seems to be part of being Gifted.
Good, good. It seems you'll come in more of use than the other lounging lumps around this town. All of them have it in their head that just their bare claws will win this war. Let me tell you, hatchling - you won't make it a tail's length into the true battlefields of this world with nothing but your bare claws and uncovered scales.

You should know how to by now... unless you decided to make off down Skalkaar without talking to anyone first. The sandstone on this island is on the far southern tip. Follow the path southeast out of the square and keep running along it until you hit a lake.

Hmm. While it's not my favorite thing to do, you should know that we dragons can use naka'duskael machinery if we lack our own. Do not run all the way back to me with each scalepack full of sandstone! Just use the naka's cutting bench to make the bricks. Now go, hatchling.
