Khemarius tells you, Hello again, <player>. You found me again I am pleased to see. This tower offers quite a vantage point from which to survey the surrounding landscape, does it not?
- It is quite good, and you are above the scurrying naka-duskael below.
Khemarius tells you, Indeed. I was here discussing the latest results of my lab trials with my old friend, Araga, when you arrived. Now I need to conduct a final test on a true master of spirit magic. I was planning on meeting Morrison at the base of this tower later; however, he has a stipulation. I am to make some spells for his use today. My abilities involving spellcraft are grand, but I lack the formula for many spells used by the naka-duskael. As a result, I need a favor, <player>.
- I would be happy to help.
Khemarius tells you, I know Morrison can be a bit short at times, but he has agreed to be on the receiving end of an experimental spell. This benefits all dragons, and sounds like no small measure of fun, so I have agreed to pay his price. Should you get me the spells on this list I would be very grateful. More to the point, I will also teach you the new version of the spell. Morrison wants copies of Spirit Bolt III, Ethereal Paroxysm III, and Ethereal Leech III.
- Where would I find those?
Khemarius tells you, The simplest way would be to travel to New Rachival and speak with one of the gnomes they call Rondo Wisecraft. A humorous name, to be sure. Buy, threaten, do what you must to acquire the spells.
Rondo tells you, A dragon, here? You obviously want something, lurking about as you do. Speak up, <player>!

Rondo tells you, Okay, I can... but they don't come cheap. What would you do with them anyway?

Rondo tells you, Very well, I meant no disrespect. Don't often see a dragon wanting spells that use spirit magic, do I? Can't fault a gnome for being a tiny bit curious, can you?

Rondo tells you, Yes, yes... Twenty-four silver, <player>, thats what it will cost you.

Rondo tells you, Good. Here you are... I keep a stock so they were already scribed.

Khemarius tells you, Excellent, <player>. I thank you for the spells, but I fear I made a mistake. Araga informed me that the required spell is actually Improved Spirit Bolt III, rather than the standard version. He has one available and is willing to trade it for a small supply of Ghost Vapor from the souls that roam the deserts.
Araga tells you, Ghost Vapors. Exchanged for a spell. Done.

Khemarius tells you, Excellent, thank you! Well done. Your training, as promised. These spirits prove interesting, I think I will remain a little while longer. Speak to me again when you have grown stronger.

Steps[edit]
- Speak with Khemarius
- Acquire Spirit Bolt III. You can acquire the spell through trade or create it yourself.
- Acquire Ethereal Paroxysm III. You can acquire the spell through trade or create it yourself.
- Acquire Ethereal Leech III. You can acquire the spell through trade or create it yourself.
- (Optional) Speak with Rondo Wisecraft in New Rachival about the spells. Hint: Use this option if you don't want to craft or trade for them yourself.
- Speak with Rondo
- Pay Rondo 24 silver for the spells. Hint: Just speak with him again, but be sure you have the coin.
- Return to Khemarius at the Tower of Healing with the spells
- Acquire four (4) Ghost Vapors from the souls that roam the deserts around the Tower of Healing. Hint: Enraged, Angered, Lost or Forgotten will all satisfy.
- Return to Araga at the Tower of Healing with the Ghost Vapors
- Speak with Khemarius at the Tower of Healing. Hint: Be sure you have the Improved Spirit Bolt III spell to complete your training
