Assist Doc Tarrant with his field research

Tarrant tells you, As it happens, for the first part of my field work, I need the assistance of a dragon who has a fair degree of skill with crystalshaping. It doesn't matter to me if that dragon is you or one of your friends, to be honest. I need five Violet Crystalline Lattices.
They might be simple construction materials to you, but using one to replace the primary buffer panel on a dissonometer increases the instrument's sensitivity by at least an order of magnitude. I only actually need one, but it seems foolish to waste the opportunity to stockpile some spares. When you return with them, we will proceed to the, er, meat of the assignment.
Tarrant tells you, Ah, at last! Let me see the lattices, please. Oh, yes, these will do quite nicely! My compliments to, well, whoever. I'm going to be busy with these for a few minutes. By the way, Marshal Dylan saw you leaving and made a point of reminding me that the Iron Guard requires that I pay what they consider a fair wage to any craftsman who does work on my behalf. How very... dwarven... of them. 100 silver seems more than fair, so I hope you will find it acceptable. Prevail, the Empire and all that. Now, if you will excuse me for a few minutes, I'd like to play with my new toys.
