Fafnir has been patrolling too close to the outpost for Jatell's comfort. If you can manage to take care of him, it should slow the spread of the blight.

Step: Defeat Fafnir the Defiler ten (10) times
<player>. We are wondering how Fafnir spreads the blight forward. Generally, the Aegis needs anchors to siphon blight magic from the Realm of Blight and poison the land. Fafnir does not seem to have any sort of connection like anchors do. I need you to investigate this connection. He may show his prowess even more in combat.
Game Feedback: While fighting Fafnir, you note that he seems to be able to exude a blast of blight magic after a short wind-up. Perhaps this is what blights the land?
Step: Return to Commander Jatell for your title.
Hmm... so he is able to collect and then use latent blight magic in a form of blast? Collecting blight magic is not odd. Most magical beings do, but exhausting it in such a fashion is unique. I imagine this outpouring of blight is what is causing the spread. Thank you, <player>. If we need you further, we will call for you again.
