With no way to rid the world of the creature, Helaerion wonders if the spell can be reversed.
Quest text[edit]
Step: Defeat Valkor the Impaler ten (10) times.
Hello again, <player>. I've been doing some research into the tale of Valkor. You see, he reached his current state by the infusion of twisted magics in his body. Undead are risen in a similar fashion, animated by magic. When defeated enough, the body is too ragged to hold magic or be of use, and the Aegis simply throws it away. Perhaps Valkor is similar. With enough combat, you may be able to destroy his body and release his soul.
Game Feedback: No matter how many times he falls, nor how hard you try, you cannot destroy the body that makes up Valkor. You can't help but feel you are continuing the torture he once endured.
Step: Return to Commander Helaerion in Kirasanct.
I doubt he is indestructible, but being unable to simply release his soul is depressing. He may be a monster now, but he was once just a tortured man. We will have to find another way to set him free.
