I seem to have misplaced my tainted pale essence right after you left. Hmm, you didn't take any from me, did you? Souls are not things to steal lightly, except of course from the wisps.
Ah well, if you go kill a few pale wisps and bring me 100 tainted pale essence it would much allay my suspicions. I would of course, be willing to train you further.
