Speak to Balit again to accept his offer. Otherwise, just drop the quest. I can exchange the Signet Ring I gave you earlier for an armor crystal: the Signet Stone. However, I need to destroy the ring to do so: this choice is irreversible. Do you really want to exchange your ring?
