General Reklar Plaguebearer, a Warlord of the Withered Aegis, was once a Dragon General. Having died at the Battle of Bayne Hill, his now-resurrected form roams his fortress in the depths of the Eastern Deadlands.

General Reklar Plaguebearer is a Greater Epic undead Dragon. The Empyrean Essence is gathered by using an Essence Siphon or Essence Harvesting (ability).

Plague Fanatics roam the fortress that Reklar resides in, though if properly pulled, will not be added into the fight. However, he also has a handful of Fallen Plague-Dragons and Fallen Plague-Warriors spawn as allies alongside him, following him constantly, so be sure to kill them whenever they show up.

Combat Tactics[edit]

First, you have to get Primal Boon, only castable by Dragons, from Dargor the Primal Researcher. Secondly, you must to gather Ethereal Shards from Reklars minions to power the spell. A good boon caster will only be firing off the Primal Boon when the buff is about to go down and will not use the auto-repeat function of the spell.

Decide two boon casters. Give 80% of the shards you have to the main caster and the rest to the backup caster. Without the Primal Boon buff, you will do *no* damage to Reklar. A good Reklar group contains a healer, a boon caster and 3-5+ damagers.

Pull him to a safe spot away from the center of his fortress. Every group member should stack together with the others. The Boon caster starts to cast short before Reklar arrives. Try to weaken him with Primal Vengeance if possible and be sure to Snarl him and keep him under Staggering Howl. He's immune to stuns and mezzes, so don't bother with them. Everyone should cause as much damage as possible whenever the boon buff is up. Reklar uses Gold Rage often as well as Paralyzing Breath which will stun everyone in range for a few seconds.

When Reklar uses his signature attack Plague Breath, be sure to rezz and rebuff immediately, then continue to damage him as Plague Breath easily can dispel 2-4 buffs as well as deal high damage. The longer the fight lasts the more likely you are to lose the fight.
