There are three known packs of wolves that roam primarily in the mountains. The largest is on the island ofTrandalar west of Valley of Repose. Another is in the foothills of the mountains north of Duskhold, and the third is a bit south of Winter's Peak along the road at the very northern edge of Granite Hills.
Quest text[edit]
Bag 5 Mountain Wolf Skulls and return to the Trophy Hunter in either Mahagra or New Rachival. The mountain wolves are found in packs near Duskhold, or in the mountains west of the Valley of Repose.
Just northwest of Duskhold you'll find some wolves. That is, if someone isn't out there killing them all already. If they are, try the western end of the Valley of Repose, I've some rumors about finding them there too. And there's a third pack that roams the mountains at the edge of the frozen lands between Winter's Peak in the western edge of Granite Hills. Because they all roam in the mountains, they're often called Mountain Wolves. I collect their skulls... don't ask why, just bring me some!
