Now that you have completed a Helian Phylactery, you must use it to absorb the energy of appropriate spirits, to transform it into a Phylactery of Heavens.
Quest text[edit]
Semeneth tells you, Greetings, hatchling. Now that you have imbued the orb and the clasp, it is time for you to assemble the phylactery itself. This formula will show you how to assemble the two pieces into a single whole, using a dragonscale forge. Do this, hatchling, then speak to me again when you are ready.
You have received 1 Formula: Helian Phylactery Formula.
The gold clasp, with its three etched gems, fits perfectly about the orb, locking sturdily in place. You suspect removing it would be a difficult task..
Semeneth tells you, You must infuse your phylactery with enough power to animate your new form, when the time comes. This requires an unusual power, one which only a few spirits contain. You may have already noticed the item has a power; this is what you will use to absorb these spirits and charge the vessel. As part of this process, you will be required to have Glowing Essence Orbs with you to power the phylactery each time you attempt to use it.
Semeneth tells you, The first spirit to overcome is one called Lem the Cold. You will find it wandering the trenches of the Northern Deadlands, and I suspect it will not be a difficult battle. Return to me, when you have absorbed this spirit with the phylactery. You MUST have it with you when you defeat Lem in order to absorb his essence..
As the spirit of Lem the Cold is absorbed, you notice your phylactery seems somehow heavier, and its inner light seems brighter..
The ghost of Seliena falls, and you feel the phylactery shake as it absorbs the spirit's energy. You have successfully charged the item, and created a Phylactery of Heavens..
If you didn't think otherwise, you'd suspect that Semeneth was overcome with emotion..
Semeneth tells you, You have done it, hatchling! You have completed the final item required for your transformation. Speak to me again in a moment.
Steps[edit]
- Scribe the Helian Phylactery Formula. Use it to create a phylactery embodying your spirit and self.
- Speak to Semeneth for instruction on how to turn the Helian Phylactery into a Phylactery of Heavens.
- Defeat Lem the Cold. Lem is in the trenches of the Northern Deadlands, along the eastern side of the area where undead roam. Use the Helian Phylactery to begin the fight to defeat Lem and prepare the vessel to absorb the energy his death will release.
- Talk to Semeneth in Chiconis for the next step.
- Defeat Seliena the Brilliant. You must have the 20 Glowing Essence Orbs with you when you defeat her. Seliena the Brilliant can be found in the Northern Deadlands. (Target Seliena and Use the Helian Phylactery on her to do real damage, this will require essence orbs to use.)
- Return to Semeneth with your transformed phylactery.
