The Defense of Aubador was established to safeguard lands to the east of the Western Deadlands from raids and enemy patrols. Having proven your value to BattleMaster Anthrindosh, the Dragon again is looking for your assistance. This time in locating a patrol that has become lost in the deadlands.

<player>, once again your assistance will be provided. That I have foreseen. Your defeat of Bhoktar, Knight of the Blade, was performed in a satisfactory manner and thus you have earned the right to again show me your value.
Since we arrived at this village we have attempted to make contact with the Tower of Nature that lies deep within the Deadlands. Numerous patrols have been sent, yet none have returned. Mere days ago the last troopers we could spare were given the charge and, as the others before them, vanished.
We do not know if they reached the Tower but were unable to return or if they perished before they made it that far. No matter their fate, we can no longer afford to send patrols into the Deadlands. Therefore we now resort to sending Gifted in their place. Locate the patrol, <player>. Determine their fate.
