The Defense of Aubador was established to safeguard lands to the east of the Western Deadlands from raids and enemy patrols. Now that the village has been re-supplied and the local wildlife suppressed, BattleMaster Anthrindosh feels the time is right to try and stop the raids once and for all.

<player>, I have foreseen that you are here to assist me. The Imperial Army established the defense of this village to prevent raids by enemies from the west. I have watched closely as you assisted the little engineer and have come to the conclusion that you will provide the Imperial Army with the necessary assistance to combat our enemies.
- I will? What sort of assistance?
Of the necessary kind, <player>. Now, to the meat of the issue. A new, yet at the same time old, faction has arisen to the west. Years ago they attacked Aughundell, but were defeated and have not been seen again in the West. Now, however, they have returned and have established a base of operations within the very deadlands you can see from this village.
- What do they want there?
I do not know, <player>, but Knights of the Ebon Guard have been spotted on the fringes of the deadlands and one has repeatedly led raids out of the gate towards this very village. The raids must be stopped to protect this town and others to the east. Defeat the Knight of the Blade known as Bhoktar and then return here to me with his head as proof of the deed. Be aware this monster isn't always on the frontline and you may have to kill his recruits to pull it into the battle.
