The axes of the Withered Aegis have enraged some of the Cedar Treants on Lesser Aradoth to the point of madness. Felion Mor has asked that you to free them from their pain because they cannot be cured.
Quest text[edit]
Felion tells you, Hruuummm... The terrible axes, <player> Truesong Wolf Hunter! They are destroying my forest by cutting down the trees... The axes of the unliving ones and their blighted bite have driven some of the trees mad and they now roam through the forest attacking everything in sight. We cannot cure them, <player>! Hrooom... They do not respond to our pleas for calm. They are being hasty, and so we need your help! Please, we must help them by freeing them from their pain. Kill them, and then return to me, hrooomm.
You have freed ten of the enraged treants from their pain! Return to speak with Felion Mor as soon as possible..
Felion tells you, Hrooooommm! You have done well... though it was much too hasty! Here, accept these trophies as a gesture of my thanks. Thrummmmm.
