Ryson wants you to inquire with the Kion Militia about what is causing their heightened anxiety. Corporal Leshlia of the militia is concerned about recent reports of Withered Aegis activity near the gates of Kion. She would like you to investigate these reports in more depth and report back to her with your findings.

While I have not yet determined the cause of my concern, even before the militia was notified of their ancient tombs being disturbed, I noticed an increased anxiety among them. Return to the headquarters and see what you can do to assist.

Good day to you, <player>. I'm Corporal Leshlia of the Kion Militia and it's my job to manage the South Gate. You might have noticed the lava flow just beyond the walls, yes? Well, ever since it appeared we've been having trouble with some of the undead. I dispatched Private Arlinne to stand guard and fend off any attacks. Would you please go speak with her and find out if she's had any difficulties today?
Greetings, <player>. If you venture beyond this gate, I should warn you that it is not at all safe. The undead have been quite persistent in their attempts to get past us and, despite our best efforts, they have nearly succeeded more than once. Now, what brings you here?

Did she now? That was most considerate. Yes, as you can tell, there are skeletons everywhere. Lieutenant Helles was injured just the other day during a raid and if it wasn't for the healing magic granted us by Merrasat we would surely have joined her in the infirmary. These are dangerous times we live in, <player>. See those raiders? They're far too close to the gate, why don't you clear a few out?
